Octávio Lisboa is a veterinarian, specializing in wild animal medicine, works exclusively with birds since 2007 and his main purpose is to save the lives of birds.
Dedicated, for over 14 years, to the veterinary care of passerines, parrots and predators. He is a great researcher and scholar in the area and is always looking for innovations to offer his patients: surgery, videolaparoscopy, thermography, laser therapy, tomography, nutrology, among others.

OUR COURSES
The Avians Medicine Courses project arose from the desire of veterinarian Octávio Lisboa to save the lives of more birds in Brazil and around the world. With over 14 years of veterinary experience exclusively for birds, Octávio realized that he could contribute by sharing his knowledge and experience with professional colleagues, veterinary students, tutors and breeders.
Since 2018, the Avians Medicine Course has trained more than 1,000 students in Brazil, Mexico, USA, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Jordan, among others.
